Imam Tibi explained in his commentary on Mishkat al-Masabih that Surat Ya Sin was called ‘the Heart of the Qur ‘an ‘ because of what it contains of overwhelming proofs, decisive signs, subtle spiritual meanings, eloquent admonition, and stern warnings. Imam Ghazali explained that this is because soundness of faith rests on acknowledging Resurrection and Judgment, and Surat Ya Sin details this in the most emphatic of ways. No one reads it intending thereby ALLAH and the Next Abode except that ALLAH forgives them. Ma`qil ibn Yasar (ALLAH be pleased with him) relates that the Messenger of ALLAH (ALLAH’s blessings and peace be upon him, his family, companions, and followers) said,”Ya Seen is the heart of the Qur’an. The Prophet said, ‘Whoever recited Surah Yaseen in the night seeking Allah’s pleasure, Allah would forgive him. It was enquired, what is Mu’amma? The Prophet ﷺ said, ‘it embraces the person with the goodness of this world and removes the dismay of the hereafter. It has been reported by Aisha (radiALLAHU Anha)that the Prophet ﷺ said that there is a Surah in the Qur’an that intercedes for its reciter and forgive its listener. The Prophet ﷺ said, ‘Whoever recites Yaseen Shareef once ALLAH will record the reward of reciting the Qur’an ten times. They Said: “Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you. the Merciful has not sent down anything: you are only lying”. The (people) Said: “You are only men like ourselves. They said “we have been sent to you by Allah”. (At first) we sent to them two messengers, but when they rejected both, we reinforced them with a third. Give them as an example the people of the town to which came the apostles. Everything we have counted up in a clear book. It is we who will bring the dead to life and (we) write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind. So give him good news of forgiveness and a reward most generous. 
You Only warn him who follows the Message and fears the Merciful, Unseen. I is alike whether you warn them or warn them not: they will not believe. We Have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them and we have covered them up, so that they can’t see. Verily, WE have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up(they can’t bow their heads). Already the Word(decree of punishment) has come into effect upon most of them, for they do not believe. That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless.
